Areas covered

Copou is the university hill: old houses, students, high rents next to UAIC. The centre, with Palas and Ștefan cel Mare, is the most expensive. Tătărași is the largest block district, mid-priced and well connected. Păcurari has new developments towards the city exit, Nicolina is the affordable block neighbourhood in the south, and Bucium, on the south-eastern hills, means new blocks and fresh air but a car commute.

Centru · Copou · Tătărași · Păcurari · Nicolina · Bucium

Typical prices

As a guide, over recent months: studios from €280–380, two-room flats from €400–550, three rooms from €500–700. In Copou and the new developments in Păcurari a two-room flat asks more than in Nicolina or Tătărași for the same surface.

Local agencies covered

Beyond the four portals, Hospi also checks the sites of 16 local agencies in Iași.

In Iași, agencies publish most of the listings, and many September “rentals” are in fact rooms in shared student flats. Ads with a price far below the market and generic photos are common, and the phone call leads to a different, pricier apartment; Hospi flags them as suspicious.

Why a goblin

You could search on your own. Hospi hopes you won't.

On your own

5–6 hours, every week

  • Four portals, dozens of agency sites, as many filters again
  • The same flat, posted by three agencies, at three prices
  • Months-old listings still marked “available”
  • Bait prices that go up once you call

And you start over next week.

With Hospi

Two minutes now, your list in 48 hours

  • One search, every source in your city at once
  • Duplicates binned: a flat appears once
  • Suspicious or long-dead listings, flagged
  • Matched to your taste (“modern”, “bright”), not just filters

49 lei, once. Hospi doesn't know what a subscription is.

No dodging

Ask Hospi anything, even what he doesn't do

49 lei for a few links?

The links are public, you could collect them yourself.

You're paying for the hours of scrolling, not the links. Five hours of searching, compressed into a list of 12.

I can see these ads on OLX myself.

What does a goblin searching the same place add?

You can. What Hospi also sees is which three of them are the same flat, posted by three agencies.

Does Hospi visit the apartments?

Does anyone confirm they're still available?

No. Hospi cleans up public listings; he doesn't visit and he doesn't call owners. Call before you travel.

How long does it take?

I need something this week.

48 hours from payment at the most. Hospi is usually done sooner.

What if he finds nothing?

The market is empty this month.

You get your money back, and an honest note on the closest Hospi found.

Frequently asked questions

  • A short list (usually 8–12 listings) picked from every source Hospi covers, each with a direct link, price, surface and the reason it matches your brief. Duplicates are removed and suspicious listings are flagged.

  • No. Hospi filters and cleans up public listings (duplicates, scam signals, stale ads), but he doesn't visit apartments and doesn't confirm availability with owners.

  • You get your money back. And if the market simply doesn't have what you're after right now, we'll tell you honestly and show you what came closest.

  • As a guide, a studio between €280 and €380 a month, a two-room flat between €400 and €550, three rooms between €500 and €700. Copou and the centre sit at the top, Nicolina and Tătărași at the bottom. September and October are the busiest months; if you can, search in November or in spring.
